Yeah, give me fake sheep skin any day…but fur around my face tends to make me feel all itchy. :) I totally agree on your assessment of the Gap coat. I am typically not a fan of big coats. I think that’s why I’ve been drawn to the LL Bean coat. Although it’s long, it feels so much less bulky, even than the Gap coat, so I don’t feel like I have to take it off when I get in the car or inside a store.

Loved the look of the Gap coat. I would consider it a perfect winter but not icky day coat. Perfect for running errands and the like.

I have the same Land’s End coat from last year and adore it. They really are so well thought out. I love that you can remove the faux fur too, I’m not a faux fur kinda gal. ;)

You broke down the review of each coat so well. I haven’t bought a coat in years, but with traveling to Kansas to visit my daughter and the cold weather here, I need a new one. You gave me great tips on what to look for.

In reply to Annie, mama dweeb. Thanks, Annie! I agree--I like those pictures the best, although I think part of it is the photographs (my 12 year old took some of them). In the end though, I really don't care how a coat looks on me as long as I am comfy and warm!
