Slice avocados in half lengthwise; scoop out about half of each avocado flesh, leaving a small “bowl” of avocado in each piece. Place scooped-out avocado in a medium bowl; add bacon and mash gently. Spoon mixture back into each avocado half. Sprinkle with lime juice to prevent browning.
Combine remaining ingredients in a small saucepan; bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until smooth and all sugars are dissolved. Pour hot mixture over filled avocado halves. Serve immediately.
