May I also suggest a goal setting system called GoalsOnTrack. It’s a web-based goal tracking and time management tool, with a very nice web 2.0 interface, and has many nice features to help you keep track of goals, and most importantly it lets you better organize daily todos towards achieving goals. Highly recommend it for serious goal achievers.

Sun, 04 Apr 2010 15:18:00 +0000https://foodfunfamily.com/?p=2089#comment-4598I think that if we don’t set goals, we never know when to be proud, pleased or even content with our progress- or for that matter, if we need to adjust things and try a bit harder ;-)

One of the things that I realized, though, is that a part of setting goals is to make sure your goals are realistic. The time frame as well as the goal itself needs to be something reachable. It’s always wonderful to reach for the stars, but when you’re setting goals, it’s important to stay realistic.

Sat, 03 Apr 2010 15:49:05 +0000https://foodfunfamily.com/?p=2089#comment-4582Every day I realize how important goals are – I have gotten better at setting them, but keeping them front and center on a daily basis does require more effort. Teaching kids about goal setting is an entirely different story – it is so hard to be consistent and they have so many things pulling at their time and energy – that keeping them focused has become another goal of mine! ;-)
