We only crochet at our house. My grandma was an expert knitter, but unfortunately I didn’t get that talent to pass on to my kids!

My daughter made these scarves a few years ago, but we got the yarn at Michaels. I’m not sure about the brand anymore. I wish I could help you out more!

I was just wondering… I seem to be struggling to find the right shade of red for the Gryffindor scarf. Do you have any recommendations or suggestions? What brand/shade have you and your daughter been using? Thanks!

Row 1 – 5 = Color A, hdc across
Row 6 – 7 = Color B, hdc across
Row 8 – 9 = Color A, hdc across
Row 10 – 11 = Color B, hdc across
Row 12 – 19 = Color A, hdc across
Repeat Row 6 – 19 until desired length, ending with Row 6 – 11 (2 rows of B, 2 rows of A, 2 rows of B)
