You might have a few more years before your kids are truly helping, but it is never too early yo have your kids working along side you. By the time they are ready for some independent “work” it will be simple to teach the, because they’ve watched and learned all along.

I do much better when I plan and shop for the week since we normally do our grocery shopping on Sundays.

So…how old do the kids need to be to really help? :) My oldest is almost 5, and I let her “help” whenever I can.

I feel like I should start up a weekly meal planning post. It sounds like many people need that extra little kick to make it happen.

Totally! I would enjoy cooking much more if that’s all I had to do. It’s all those other distractions that make cooking so hard!

I just hate the what’s for dinner rut! Even so, I can’t figure out why it’s so hard to stick with the meal planning routine.

(And I love to cook too, I just wish I had more time in each day! LOL!)
