He feel in love with him all over again. I HATE loosing things too. I thought I had lost one of my favorite cook books. I was in a panic searching the entire house calling friends and neighbors trying to see if I left it somewhere I even called a friend for a recipe from it because I wanted it for dinner last night. Then at scrapbooking last night my next door neighbor yells out oh my I still have your cookbook. I almost lost it!! I had completely forgot I loaned it to her. Did you loan Doug out to someone?? And your lens oh I hope you find that soon!!

I can remember when my mom substituted my security object, a ball of pink yarn that I had pulled and tugged on for a very long period of time and managed to turn into a solid mass with loops to hold and play with. I loved Pinky. I lost Pinky, when I was about 6, and I was so beside myself that my mother attempted to make for me. It wasn't the same, but it was better than nothing for a while. And eventually Pinky turned up. I sure hope that Doug turns up, soon!
Stopping by from Mama Kat's Writer's Workshop.

That. Breaks. My. Heart.
Poor Twizzler… poor Doug.
When my daughter was born, I made for her a blankey/lovey she now sleeps with. I made three for this reason.
I hope Doug finds his way back to Twizzler soon!
