Marvellous it lasted 15 years. Mine’s about 6 now and still going strong. I sometimes look at all the bells and whistles on the newer versions but just feel so comfortable with the one I know (sad eh!)

We were married on the 28th–just 6 days after you! That’s crazy! And apparently 15 years is the life span of a GE microwave. I’d say that’s pretty good. :)

Ohhh, poor microwave. It sounds like it died serving the family it loved though. But still, I don’t know that I could function without one.

I think my micro is on its last zaps too! the button doesn’t even like to open the door w/o persuasion! I have a lot of things dieing too… always comes in bunches….

In reply to Erica. My 11 year old daughter was sad when she found out that the garbage collectors took the microwave away. I think she was hoping we'd keep it as extra kitchen storage.
