Honestly I could live without watching the Olympics. I am not anti-Olympics but I just am not that excited to watch them, especially since they are taped & often of sports that aren't *my* thing. You'll do great! Don't forget to share. Speaking is fun, once you're up there you don't get nervous at all (just like when they shut the cabin door in the plane). Just remember to enjoy it and have a blast. As for the Olympics, we are all sports folks in my family so we always watched it, and did for the Winter games that just finished. We have family and friends in Vancouver and a few of them were volunteers so it was fun to read their FB updates. I was disappointed that we didn't get live coverage though. We watch it but not religiously. My younger daughter is too young to appreciate it. We watch it more when my older daughter is here.

Good luck speaking at those conferences! I'm sure you will do just fine. We didn't watch as much of the Olympics as I would have wanted too. They were on television way to late. Whenever they were on I was busy putting kids to bed and by the time I was done with that I was too tired to watch. I remember watching them as a kid too.
