So many moms suffer through depression, through PPD, and they don’t know why, or how they can get help. I don’t think I ever had it bad, but certainly I was emotional, I was tired, I was a mess, I questioned my mothering skills, and I was sick with worry all the time.

I think so many moms don’t realize it can happen anytime. Looking back I think I had a mild case of PPD with my 4th child. I still feel like I never really recovered the same way from his birth (physically it took a huge toll on my body).
