What is more refreshing on a hot summer day than a cold drink? The answer? Not much.
I don’t drink alcohol (or coffee or tea, for that matter!) but there are so many drink recipes available that are fruit based. I LOVE a good homemade smoothie or spritzer!
We’re on the final stretch for the summer as we finish off July and enter August. I’m not quite ready for the summer to end (so it’s a good thing we have about 4 weeks left before school starts back). What are your plans for the rest of the summer??

]]>Can you believe it’s the end of January? The year is already flying by! Today my 3rd child turns 17. He’s been taller than both of his parents for years now, he’s a junior in high school, on the varsity cross country and track teams, and he’s a kind and social teenager. He makes a mama proud!
Because it’s the end of the month, and because I am SO close to meeting my big sales goal for my LuLaRoe business, I thought I’d reach out to you guys. There’s no pressure at all, but if you love buttery soft leggings or need a new shirt or sweater (or anything in between), would you please consider making a purchase from me today? I would SO appreciate it! I’ve got a special deal going on through end-of-day Wednesday. Shop or just browse here: https://sonlet.com/party/1595836638p/
Now let’s turn our focus back to our yummy party! I don’t know if it’s the colors this week or if this is a particularly delicious collection of recipes, but my mouth is watering!

It's a good day! I think I may have to do some kid-friendly baking later this afternoon. I don't know about you, but these kid-friendly snacks look good enough for Moms!

]]>The weather has officially turned comfortably cool and on my drive yesterday morning, I noticed the leaves turning gorgeous fall colors. I’m celebrating a birthday at the end of this week with a girl’s weekend at Hersheypark (for Hersheypark in the Dark! I can’t wait!). And then a few days later, I travel back across the country to spend a week with my mom and 2 nephews while my brother and sister-in-law enjoy a little getaway. Life is good. Busy, hectic, and pretty messy most days. But good.
Can you believe that it’s Halloween season? I’m sure you’ve seen Halloween at the stores and all over Pinterest. Whether or not you’ve got kids who like to dress up in fun costumes and trick or treat, you can’t deny how fun Halloween treats are! We’ve gathered a bunch of our favorites from last week’s Delicious Dishes recipe party below. But first, here are two of my own Halloween recipes that I know you’re going to love!

]]>Hi guys!
I am so glad you’re here today! I’ve been having one of those headachy, hard-to-focus days and all I wanted to do was curl up on my couch with a bunch of chocolate and Pinterest. Ever had one of those days? I know I’m not alone here.
I’ve been drooling over all of the amazing St. Patrick’s Day desserts on Pinterest and blogs and so I felt compelled to share a few of the BEST recipes that I found.
Hopefully my obsession with all of these green and minty and rainbow-y treats can benefit more than just my own belly.
And what better way to celebrate the days leading up to St. Patrick’s Day than with 17 St. Patrick’s Day treats? See where I’m going here? There is a recipe for every day in March leading up to St. Patrick’s Day. That way, you’ve got plenty of green things to enjoy all month.
Because, really, WHY WAIT until St. Patrick’s Day to indulge in these goodies?
Here are 17 days of St. Patrick’s Day treats from my own blog and several of my fellow blogger friends. Enjoy!
What are your favorite GREEN treats? Feel free to leave me a link so I can check them out!

]]>I’m so happy you’re here. Are you excited to celebrate all things Irish and Green and Lucky with me?
Do your kids love doing scavenger hunts? I’m excited to share this St. Patrick’s Day Scavenger Hunt Printable for kids! Did you see last month’s Valentine’s Day scavenger hunt? I’ll be bringing you a NEW, seasonal scavenger hunt each month, all year long!
Whether or not you’ve got some Irish heritage like we do (from both sides, in fact!), your kids will love searching for green things and getting in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit! The best thing about this scavenger hunt is that it can be played many different ways – use the printable list as a guide and make the game your own. Simply print off as many sheets as you need, and then go have some fun!
