My legs are my asset yet my midsection is my downfall. So I say emphasize your strengths and hide your weaknesses. Okay, maybe we should strengthen our weaknesses, I just prefer to hide them. It’s easier that way.

And, I blame my kids for the mid-section.

Yes the skinny jeans I bought do not fit me, but I figured – maybe someday they WILL! Hey for $5. I do not have the “skinny jean” build either. Who does? 7-foot-tall super models? Because I think the term “skinny jeans” is somewhat of a misnomer. They do not make one look skinnier. I think that sneaky marketing ploy was deliberate.

I’m sure boot cut are considered “out” but that’s my jeans of choice. No low rise either after 3 C-secs. My belly needs to be contained! :) Uh oh. I just realized I could totally be in SNL’s “Mom Jeans” spoof!

I love me some skinny jeans, but I’m like Robin and have to wear tunics, or long sweaters, and high boots. Hopefully I don’t look like I’m trying too hard…

Skinny jeans are ug-a-ly on me. I have 2 brands that are good enough but I really should invest in a tailor.

I’m very wide-hipped, something no amount of diet/exercise will ever cure (it was there even during my super-skinny teen years), and I end up looking like an odd V shape from the waist down.

Though for $5, the tunic/boot idea might work…and that’s totally in fashion now!

Yes, please–go run and get some!! It was a shame to put all of those jeans back on the rack. I really, really wanted to take advantage of the deal. I hope you can find them at your Target. The deal has been confirmed at two Targets.
