I’m sorry I’m so late getting this post up for you guys this week! WordPress decided to stop working for me, but after many frustrating tries, I finally found a solution. Hallelujah! We’re back in business!
This week, we’ve decided to feature some of the tasty breakfast recipes that our readers have shared on the party recently. These certainly have my mouth watering! I’m not a big fan of cooking in the morning (I like quick and easy when I’m starting my day) but I LOVE breakfast foods and enjoy making breakfast-for-dinner. It’s one of our favorite family traditions.

]]>We’ve had a brief spring “preview” here in Maryland, and I’m eager and excited for the weather to warm up more permanently.
But more than anything else, I’m eager for our house renovations to be done so that I can get back to cooking regularly. I’m hoping that this long break from cooking and doing dishes will make me appreciate the ability to cook even more!
This week, my fellow Delicious Dishes hostesses and I decided to feature recipes using ground beef. Ground beef is one of the easiest and most versatile starting points for dinner, and I almost always have some ground beef on hand. What about you?

]]>Happy Tuesday! This past week has been a whirlwind of excitement for our family. We’ve been slowly preparing to move for the last several months, but kicked the process into high gear this week when we found what seemed like our dream house.
We still love the location and the idea of the house, but the reality was that the house was in very bad shape and the owners were seriously loony.
The good news is that we’ve held onto that motivation to move faster on the things we need to do at our house to get it ready to sell and then find a new place.
It’s all good.
This week for Delicious Dishes, we’ve chosen some delicious chicken recipes that are sure to become new family-favorites. Once I have a working kitchen again, I’ll be making ALL of these chicken dishes for sure!

]]>I was gone most of the day Monday preparing for today.
Somehow this ordinary Tuesday turned into the day that we’re adopting a kitten.
A year and a half ago, we were a family without pets. Now we’re all in.
I have a very happy 15-year-old girl living down the hall from me.
For this week’s Delicious Dishes Recipe Party, each of the hosts has chosen their favorite part of a 6-course Valentine’s Day dinner. Then we put them all together to create a delicious fancy (and dare I say romantic?) dinner.

]]>Hi guys! I saw a meme the other day about how LONG January is. Seriously, I feel like the holidays were ages ago. How is it still January?
We’ve got more snow on the horizon, and the cold temperatures have me craving comfort food. Pork is one of those foods that I swear no matter how you cook it, it’s comforting!
These recipes from our readers have my mouth watering!

]]>We just had our second snow day in a row.
Our kitchen has been in the middle of a massive remodel for the last 2+ weeks. That includes not having a sink or a dishwasher to wash dishes in for that amount of time.
Our cars have been giving us problems and so we’ve been shuffling who gets to have a car while the others are either in the shop or waiting to be fixed.
I’m ready for a vacation.
Since I can’t take a vacation this month (or even cook myself some comfort food), I’ll settle for dreaming about really yummy food.
It’s inspiring to see so many low-carb, healthy recipes in our recent link up parties. It’s the perfect time of year to share some of our favorites!

]]>Happy New Year! 2018 was kind of rough for me, but I’m optimistic and excited about starting 2019. How are you feeling about the new year?
I’m not really one to make New Year’s Resolutions, but I’ve been concentrating more the last month on what I eat. Since this is a time of year when many of us try to revamp our recipes and our eating habits, we thought it would be fitting to share some of our favorite diet-friendly recipes from our recent parties. ALL of these good-for-you dishes look amazing!

]]>Merry Christmas!
The traditional Christmas morning picture in front of the tree has been taken, and the kids are looking SO much older!
The presents have been opened and played with all day.
The Christmas dinner has been cooked and eaten.
It’s just about time to transition from Christmas decorations and music and all of the excitement of the season back to regular life.
But in the mean time, it’s still the holiday break and all of the Delicious Dishes hosts are enjoying time with our families, so we’re taking the next 2 weeks a little slower than usual. We don’t have a new link up today. And this week, instead of each of us choosing one of our favorite submitted recipes, we’ve each picked a favorite recipe from our own sites. Strangely enough, we all chose CAKES, so you get to enjoy each of our favorite cake recipes!
Happy holidays!
These cakes are great for any occasion – holidays, parties, dessert night, birthdays – you name it! Which cake looks most tempting to you?
My favorite: Sprite Bundt Cake with Lemon Frosting from Food Fun Family
Lois’s favorite: Chocolate Brownie Cake with Homemade Ganache from Walking on Sunshine Recipes
Brett’s favorite: Coffee Cake with Coffee Glaze from This Mama Loves
Keri Lyn’s favorite: Brown Sugar Bundt Cake from She Saved
Emily’s favorite: Apple Pudding Cake with Butter Cream Sauce from Clever Housewife
Mary’s favorite: White Texas Sheet Cake from Bunny’s Warm Oven
Follow us along on our Pinterest board. We pin a ton of recipes that are shared to our linky party each week.
We’ll see you back for our regularly scheduled Tuesday linky parties after the New Year!
In the mean time, share with me in the comments some of your favorite Christmas traditions or something special about your holiday this year. I hope you had a wonderful time with family and friends. I hope you know how much I appreciate each time you visit my blog!

]]>My house is decorated for Christmas.
Presents have been purchased (still so much shopping to do! 17-year-old boys are hard to shop for!).
The first batch of Grandma’s English Toffee has been made, shared, and finished.
Christmas music has been playing non-stop on my Alexa.
My daughter who’s off at college thousands of miles away will be home in exactly one week.
There’s no denying that the holidays are in full swing.
Who’s ready for some more delicious Christmas treats? We saw so many fun holiday goodies in last week’s party that we had to share some of our favorites!
