Need some writing ideas for this coming month? Here is a list of blog prompts for the month of December!
I’m not ready to say goodbye to 2015, but the last few months of the year have flown by, and I’m sure that the rest of this month will be the same.
Lately, my challenge with blogging has not been what to blog about, but where to find the time to write all of the posts that I wish I could write. I’m honestly full of ideas but don’t always have time to make the things that I want to make or write about them when I’ve made them.
December is one of my favorite times of the year for reflective blog posts and round ups of favorite things. What ideas do you have for your blog this month?
Here are a few writing prompts for this month:
Have a wonderful December!

October has flown by! I’m writing these prompts as I wait for trick-or-treaters to ring the doorbell on Halloween. Before we know it, we’ll be roasting the turkey for Thanksgiving.
Since this time of year – after Halloween and until the New Year – is the busiest time of the year for my family (I’m sure we aren’t the only ones) then I need to keep my blogging as simple and streamlined as possible. What do you have planned for your blog this month?
Here are a few blog prompts for the month of November. What will you be writing about this month?
Happy blogging!

I’m happy to say that the summer is NOT flying by…though I wouldn’t be surprised if I felt differently at the end of the month of August. Spending the entire month of July on the road (literally) was pretty intense. Exhausting, exciting, enlightening, invigorating. We saw so much of the country, completely different from the cross country road trip that we took last summer.
And we’re already planning next summer’s road trip.
Luckily, my kids have another month of summer vacation before school starts again in the fall. And, believe it or not, all of us thought that school was starting a full week earlier than it is. We just discovered that we have another week of summer break. Not sure how ALL of us overlooked the late start date…
Since I just came back from my vacation, I’ve got an over-abundance of travel posts to write over the next few weeks…which is handy, considering I’m heading on yet another vacation (this time without kids) in less than 2 weeks. But for those of you who need a little inspiration (or maybe a little kick in the butt) here are a few writing prompts to get you started on some killer blog content for the month.
Happy blogging!

I’m blaming my vacation (and the last few weeks of vacation prep) on the fact that I completely forgot to post July’s blog prompts on Sunday. So we’ve got a mid-week Blog Prompts. It’s summer. It’s all good, right?
Here are a few prompts for the month of July (and, yes, I’ve got vacation on my mind!).

It never fails. May is always scorching hot. I can’t wait for the pool to open and schools to close and to get started on THE SUMMER….only to have June begin and bring with it cooler temperatures and lots of rain. And yet, despite the fact that it hasn’t been feeling quite like summer this past week, there’s a certain FEEL in the air. Something feels different as we prepare to transition from the school year and homework and waking up before the sun to the lazier days of summer.
With focus shifting to the coming summer season, I thought it would be fun to build this month’s writing prompts on summer themes.
What will you write about this month?
Have a fabulous month of June…and enjoy the summer!

Since it’s the first Sunday of a new month, I’ve got a brand new list of writing prompts for you! The month of February flew by. It’s shocking to me that it’s already March, but honestly, February 2015 was not my favorite month. WAY too many snow days, way too many cold temperatures, and way too much lingering snow. I’m ready for spring! March is the month where winter starts to turn to spring, and I’m confident that by the end of this month, we’ll have warmer temperatures and brighter skies.
March holds a lot of hope. Melting snow, green sprouting up here and there….lots of things to look forward to! I am welcoming March with open arms!
If you’re a blogger and one of your goals is to write more posts from the heart and fewer sponsored posts…or maybe one of your goals is to provide more helpful/how-to posts…then my Blog Prompts series is for you! In January, I started my second year of posting monthly writing prompts, so I’ve got a whole stash of ideas to keep you busy any time you don’t know what to write.
I hope some of these topics and prompts can inspire you to get more creative on your blog! If you use any of these writing ideas, please leave me a comment so I can stop by and read!

The leaves have changed color, the air has turned crisp and cool (at least in this part of the country), and holiday decorations have already over-taken retail stores everywhere. It’s November and it’s time for another round of blog prompts.
Do you have any idea that you’re excited to write about this month? Be sure to share your posts here if any of these prompts inspire you – I’d love to leave a comment!

I can’t believe it’s already September! The kids are safely (and happily) in school for a new year…and I admit that I am missing all of the time we spent together this summer. One good thing about the school year? I’ve got a little more time to work. I’m still adjusting to being back home…the early mornings getting kids up and ready for school, the quiet middays, the long afternoons with homework and outdoor play time.
If you’re trying to adjust to a new Fall schedule like me, and finding it a little difficult to get back into the groove, these blog prompts might help. Enjoy!
These writing prompts are simple, so they can be easily adjusted to your style and needs. I’d love to see your posts, so feel free to leave the links below!

It’s hard to believe we’ve started the last month of summer. Where has the time gone?
I had a much-needed break from my normal blogging schedule (which, I admit has been pretty insane the last several months). Summer time seems to be a rather busy time around my house – lots of out-of-the-house activities that keep the kids (and me) busy (and away from my computer) Although I probably won’t return to full work activity until the kids get back to school, I am excited to dig in to some fun topics as we finish up the last few weeks of summer.
I decided to go with a top 10 theme – here is a quick list of 10 blog prompts that are top 10 or lists of 10. Have fun with them and see what other “TEN” posts you could come up with!
Check out all of my other blog prompt posts for more ideas! Hopefully one or two of these writing prompts is what you need to get over the hurdle of writer’s block (I know *I* suffer from writer’s blog all too often. What about you?) Give me a topic and I can write about it. Give me a blank screen and no ideas, and that screen will remain blank for far too long.

How did I miss the beginning of July? It wasn’t until a few days into last week that I realized I had missed my day for posting my monthly blog prompts. And then I figured that it’s summer and most of you are probably just as behind as I am. Since we’re packing up to leave on our mega family road trip in a few days, I decided to make this month’s blog prompts be all about family vacations.
Hopefully some of these blogging prompts and writing ideas will prompt you to get started on some fun summer posts. Forget about summer time writer’s block!
Be on the look out for an extra dose of travel-related posts from me as my blog focus turns to family vacation mode for the next month and a half!
