Tomorrow I leave my Mom and Dad’s house in Provo, make a fun detour in Park City to try out the new Hyundai Santa Fe, and then make my way back home, after what feels like months of traveling.
I miss my kids.
But I love spending time at my old college campus.
Campus has changed so much since I was here in the early to mid 90s, but so much of it is the same. It still feels like home…a home that has had a nice remodel since I lived here.
As mom and I walked around campus on our photo walk, we enjoyed seeing things that we typically miss when we are here every year for Education Week, with over 20,000 people crowding the campus at once. Today, we only had to battle the new student orientation (as we marveled at how young all of the entering freshmen looked).
The craziest part of this is that my daughter will be coming here as a freshmen in two years. I must say….I’m happy she wants to follow in my foot steps.
PS – Cecily’s site seems to still be down for me. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that she’ll be back up and running soon, but I will keep you all updated with news as I hear it.

Thanks for sharing your walk down memory lane. I was on the campus once but never stopped to look around, I was on a mission to find someone, which I never did accomplish, oh well. It is a very pretty campus. Cherish these last 2 years, they will fly by!
