After Apple got sick yesterday, I had to cancel my plans to go to the Claude Moore Colonial Farm with a group of moms and kids from Church (today the kids were off school because of Yom Kippur). But another Mom was kind enough to take Noodle and Taco in her car so they wouldn’t miss out on the fun. They had a great time! Noodle brought along her camera. She caught a few cute ones before it ate up the brand new batteries I installed right before they left. Grr!
My sister and niece met up with the group, and Noodle was so kind to lead Vanessa around and help her participate. Here they are making candles (in authentic 1770’s style! They look like poop-on-a-stick!)Taco’s turn….
Doesn’t that look disgusting?
Noodle used most of the batteries up taking pictures of the beautiful scenery. She’s a girl after my own heart!
I’m sad I didn’t make it, considering how beautiful it was. Plus, I missed spending time with my friends AND my sister. :( But Kiwi, Apple and I had a great time visiting our favorite thrift store. Totally productive time. Meanwhile, Reese was having a blast at a birthday party. What a busy day!
