I was thrilled when I was invited back in May to attend the red carpet premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. So naturally, I was eager to get my hands on the Blu-ray/DVD as soon as it was available! This past week, I cuddled up under a blanket to watch the latest installment of the Pirates franchise with my son.
It was just as thrilling seeing it for the third time! I highly recommend this newest Pirates movie as an addition to your home movie collection!

The rip-roaring adventure finds down-on-his-luck Captain Jack feeling the winds of ill-fortune blowing strongly his way when deadly ghost sailors, led by the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle bent on killing every pirate at sea—notably Jack.
Jack’s only hope of survival lies in the legendary Trident of Poseidon, but to find it he must forge an uneasy alliance with Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodelario), a brilliant and beautiful astronomer, and Henry (Brenton Thwaites), a headstrong young sailor in the Royal Navy. At the helm of the Dying Gull, his pitifully small and shabby ship, Captain Jack seeks not only to reverse his recent spate of ill fortune, but to save his very life from the most formidable and malicious foe he has ever faced.

My FAVORITE bonus features are always bloopers. As a teenager and young adult I would look for the blooper reel before I even watched the feature film. After interviewing these actors, I knew that the blooper reel would NOT disappoint!

We love the Pirates of the Carribean movies and this one did not disappoint. We need to get this on DVD soon! Makes a great Holiday gift.
