Is This My Valentines Present? Why, Thank You!

It’s time for a few more awards! Some of my wonderful new blog friends…….

…..have recently poured on the blog love on me once again. In addition to being double and triple awarded, I’ve gotten these brand new ones:

I’m supposed to list 5 reasons why I think that Life is Grand and then pass it on to 5 people.

1-I have an incredible family, both the one I was raised in and the one I’m raising now. We love each other.

2-Friends. I have an amazing support group, both at home, at church, and–yes–online. I am grateful for those of you who have supported me emotionally through this difficult 7 months of no income. I am grateful to have so many reasons to be happy, even in the middle of trials.

3-I placed in the top 10 twice and 1st place once during the 1st 3 weeks of I Heart Faces photography contests. How cool is that? What a huge boost to my confidence, considering I am always so self-conscious of my pictures.

4-Life is grand because of beautiful music. I love music. Necco said yesterday that my iPod is running constantly (“Good thing you have that iPod, Mom. What would we do without it?”)

5-Comments. I love comments. Each one makes me smile (yeah–so far I haven’t gotten any negative ones)

This award comes along with this little paragraph: “These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Cleverly written text? Ok. Whatever!
