And I’m here to prove it.
Here are a few of the things that I can do in 3 minutes or less. Ready?
* Run up and down the stairs–from the basement to the top floor and back again–8 times, each time carrying something up that belongs upstairs or down that belongs downstairs.
* Get 5 kids buckled in the car. (I couldn’t always do that, but it really helps that 4 of my kids can buckle themselves with just a reminder from me)
* Hug and kiss those same 5 kids….a few times.
* Eat my breakfast while reading.
* Do my make-up
* Pick up and open all of my mail (Snail mail. Not email. That takes longer than 3 minutes!)
* Fold a load of laundry. I’m quick. Unfortunately, I never have ONE load of laundry. I usually have 5 or 7.
* Unload the dishwasher. I’ve had a lot of practice.
* Sign all the school kids’ agendas and look through all of the papers that come home in their folders. Let me tell you, with multiple kids in school there are a lot of signatures and a LOT of papers.
* Take about 20 pictures.
MamaKat’s Writing Prompts this week were great. Go check them out, along with all of this week’s workshop participants at Mama’s Losin’ It!
PS–I have exciting news! Tomorrow is the kick off day for 5 Minutes for Mom’s Ultimate Blog Party! And CandyMan and I decided to give away TWO copies of our brand new Spanish language learning program, ready in a couple of weeks. One program will be offered up on 5M4M’s US/Canada prize list, and the other will be right given away right here! Be sure to check back!
