I had pretty decent skin as a teenager. I remember one of my best friends complaining that my skin was a little TOO flawless (of course, I didn’t agree with her!). Now that I’m approaching my 40th birthday this Fall, I finally have issues with acne…AND wrinkles. It’s as if my 30s are payback time for all of those years with good skin as a teen.
Since I am now dealing with acne and blotchy redness as well as the normal signs of my age (fine lines and wrinkles), I need a foundation that can cover it all well…all while maintaining my preferred “light/natural” makeup look.
This past month, I’ve had the chance to test a new product by L’Oréal Paris. L’Oréal Paris Visible Lift Blur Foundation is just the right amount of coverage for me – it nicely covers my blotchy redness and pimples and smooths the fine lines on my forehead.
About L’Oréal Paris Visible Lift Blur Foundation:
L’Oréal Paris Visible Lift Blur Foundation is L’Oréal Paris’ first makeup with exclusive blur technology formulated to instantly blur lines and wrinkles. Signs of aging disappear as Visible Lift Blur Foundation hides dark spots, large pores and smooths uneven texture so you get a flawless finish you can see and feel.
L’Oréal Paris Visible Lift Blur Foundation is available in 12 shades so it’s easy to match your skin tone perfectly. It is available at food and drug retailers nationwide for approximately $14.99.
How to Use:
Apply foundation with a brush or fingertips (I just use my fingertips), and blend in an outward motion until smooth.
I was pleased with how well – and quickly – the foundation blended into my skin. Recently, shortly after finishing my makeup for the day, I was in the check out line at the drug store and the lady behind the counter commented on how young I look. Considering I’ve been in town to drop my oldest daughter off at college, I’ve been feeling extra old. So having someone comment on my youthful face out of the blue made me feel great!
And since I have a family and personal history with skin cancer, I am particularly fond of the fact that the foundation has broad spectrum SPF 18, so my skin is protected when I do my makeup.
What are your most difficult skin issues? What could you use L’Oréal Paris Visible Lift Blur Foundation to cover up?

I want to try this, I’ve seen a few other blogs review this item and the make up after pictures looks flawless.
