Could grown-up Soleil Moon Frye be more cute? After watching this video, I think I want to be one of her kids.
I don’t know about you, but as the mom in this family of seven, I do a lot of spending. Which reminds me….I am down to half a gallon of milk and had better get out to the grocery store stat. When we’re out of toilet paper, the family turns to me. When the kids need something for school, they turn to me. When they need new clothes, they most definitely come to me. That’s where the America Express Everyday Card comes in handy. The Everyday Card gives users rewards whenever they use their card (which, if you’re like me, is often). Rewards can be earned with over 500 brands (such as popular clothing and home ware brands) and DOUBLE points can be earned while shopping at the grocery store. Best of all, there is no annual fee AND you can earn 20% extra if you use your card 20 or more times each month (which, as a mother of 5, is not a problem for me).
Soliel’s cute story of buying her first minivan (shout out to all those other minivan moms out there!) and the dance party that ensued reminded me of the time years ago when the kids and I were all hanging out in the family room. One of my girls was braiding my hair (what I call the at-home mom-spa) and I was apparently feeling silly. A song came on the radio that I liked and I turned it up loud.
It might not have seemed like anything significant at the time (bad hair and bad dancing?) but here I am, 5 years later, attesting that it DID matter. That day is proof that #EveryDayMoments like these are sometimes the best moments – the moments that bond us and create the happy memories we hope will fill our kids’ childhoods.
Everyday moments like these remind me that even the ordinary, seemingly insignificant moments – taking my son on a grocery store trip with me, leaving a note on my daughter’s pillow, sitting around in the family room together on a Sunday night – those are the moments that mean the most.
Do you have any “#EveryDayMoments” that have turned out to be the big moments? I’d love to hear how you are enjoying everyday in the comments below!
