I arrived in Orlando last night for my 5 night Florida adventure. My car-mates and I got to the main house just in time for dinner, and let me tell you….what a wonderful way to make an entrance. A house full of blogging friends and the wonderful smell of freshly baked Italian food.
Chef Linda from Chef of Your Own was standing in the kitchen, ready to serve us. She had prepared the most delicious lasagna, a Caesar salad, and freshly baked bread. And then for dessert – rum cake with strawberries and canoli.
I love the idea of Chef of Your Own. Linda, the Orlando Vacation Chef, will come to your location and prepare a meal for your family, group, party, whatever. She’s been a personal chef for over 15 years, and she can handle a crowd (there were nearly 25 of us last night and she didn’t blink an eye. And there was plenty of food for us!).
I have better pictures of the meal on my real camera, but since I’m blogging from my ipad this week, these shots will have to do (enough to tease you maybe?).
Today, I’m on a ziplining adventure. Wish me luck and I’ll be back with some pictures tonight!
Do me a favor and follow Chef of Your Own on Facebook. And call her up the next time your family’s in the Orlando area!
Note: I am on a junket trip with Disney and activities provided this week are part of a free trip. But, as always, excitement and opinions are all my own!
