Unfortunately, it wasn’t the uplifting, relaxing, rejuvinating kind of day at the temple..but it was wonderful in it’s own way. :) First, I spent three hours freezing my fingers off as I took a “few” wedding pictures for this adorable couple in our stake. It rained until we were completely done (or so we thought). Cold. Wet. Yucky skies. But beautiful couple. I had fun working side by side with my good friend and fellow camera nut, LT.
Then after dinner, the whole family piled into the van to head back down to the temple Visitor’s Center for a concert. It was so much fun! A Ukranian Christmas festival.
(Necco kept leaning over to Daddy and saying “Did you understand that, Dad?” When the concert was done, the temple looked amazing, with the misty sky lit up by the Christmas lights. I am exhausted, but the day was full and satisfying. And now to bed (after showing off a few of the pictures I took tonight of the temple, the lights. and the live nativity scene….CandyMan and I did that the Christmas before Twizzler turned one!).
