Reese begged me tonight after dinner to let her work on something on my computer. She said she needed to write something and she could NOT write it by hand. I was heading out to Back to School night at the elementary school, Twizzler was heading to cub scouts, KitKat was already at the big football game, and Dad was on his way home. Since the computer was free, I gave her permission.
When I came home, Reese was just finishing her masterpiece. For a 7-year-old, her letter was well-spelled. She jumps around a bit in her thoughts, but since I was there for everything she mentioned, I knew what she was talking about. As a quick background, I had to wake the two youngest kids up before teh crack of dawn to take KitKat and a few other high school kids to the high school. Reese and AJ thought it was quite the adventure, and other than the burping from the little ones, the big kids loved starting their day off with such adorable kids.
Letter to Reese’s 2nd grade teacher:
It was a cold rainy night. I could not sleep at all. My mom woke me up to bring my big sister somewhere. My mom picked two people up with Kimberly. I brought my blanket and some food. I went home and my mom and big brother timothy was getting ready to go to cub scouts, I wish I went with them because I love going and running and playing in the gym. My mom came home and I know that she was going to go right on her computer because I all ways see her come home and go right on it. My mom is a blogher.
And now, just for fun, are the long over-due winners of the last three giveaways from Back to School week.
The 2 winners of the Lightroom editing giveaway are Heather R and Darcie (neither had a URL for me to link to). They’ve been emailed! As soon as I get their files I’ll be editing away with Lightroom.
The winner of the Autographed David Garrett CD is Natalie V. She was an enthusiastic enterer, so I was excited that she won!
Laura1967 won the Elffolk book and Zazzle binder giveaway. Congrats to her!!
Stephanie is the super lucky winner of the Moji Tension Release. She says it’s for her mom and dad, but I really think she ought to keep it herself. Once you try it, you never want to go back.
I am literally falling asleep at the keyboard, so I am going to call it a night. Good night!
