Halloween was stretched out quite a bit this year. The class parties and school-wide Halloween parade at the elementary school took place on Friday because there was no school for kids on Halloween Monday. Then our annual trunk-or-treat event was held on Saturday night (yes, we held it in the snow…), and of course the regular neighborhood trick or treating took place on Monday.
Put simply, that meant a lot or partying and even MORE candy. I don’t even want to think about the number of candy wrappers I have found around my house this week…
But, boy oh boy, the kids sure do look happy, don’t they?
Yes, even I dressed up in costume. Can you see the SNOW behind me through my car window??

Those costumes are so fun… and what’s a bit of sugar high every now and then? It’s not like Halloween happens every day. :)
