Yesterday, I noticed that my lower back was killing me. The kind of back pain that elicits a scream every time I bend forward. (I’ve been doing a lots of knee-bending the last two days). I noticed the pain while I was at a BBQ/pool party, and figured it was from carrying AJ around the pool. Or maybe I’d done something to it earlier in the day while I was deep cleaning the van. All I knew was that I HURT.
Today has been worse. The pain is manageable with 800 mg of ibuprofen, but I am cranky and can’t get comfortable. It was at some point today that I remembered what I was doing on Friday night. I was single-handedly taking the solid wood bunkbed apart so that we could replace it with the newer, nicer full-bed-on-the-bottom futon bunkbed from some friends. I was moving furniture. Duh! How could I have forgotten about moving furniture and carrying a 5’x3′ piece of plywood over my head? No wonder I’ve killed my back.

I think I’ve earned myself a free ticket to sleep for the rest of the day. And not put kids to bed. Don’t you think? I need to get plenty of rest before I pack up for BlogHer.
But before I call it a night, I want to announce the winner of my giveaway. Congrats to Kristi C (5memb on twitter) for winning the $25 iTunes gift card! Don’t forget to stop by my other giveaways to win one of 5 coupons for free Breyers Ice Cream treats or a $30 gift card to some amazing skin care products!

I feel bad even complaining about back pain! But you know how debilitating it can be! Silly me trying to move furniture myself!

Hope you’re better soon.
I always do stuff like that. Something hurts and I forget that I did some major thing to it. ;) Of course, while I’m trying to figure out what I’ve done, I’m busy deciding which exotic illness would cause me whatever symptom I have. Being a hypochondriac is awesome like that. ;o)
