WhoNu Cookies sponsored this end-of-season soccer team celebration as well as this post, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Fall soccer season has been over for a few weeks now and I must admit that the first Saturday morning that I was able to sleep in was pretty heavenly. But despite the lack of sleep and the busy Saturday, mornings and weekday nights, I love having my kids in team sports.
After the very last game in November, I was able to throw an end-of-season party for Reese’s team, courtesy of WhoNu? Cookies (and then there were food and drinks left over to share at AJ’s game an hour later). It was SO much fun for Reese and I to plan the goodie bags and set up the field-side party table. You should have heard the oohs and aahs while we set up.
The stars of the show were the WhoNu? cookies for sure. When I told Reese’s teammates’ parents that WhoNu? had offered to sponsor their end-of-season party, they were floored. When I told them that WhoNu? cookies were full of nutritious goodness, they were even MORE amazed.
Just as a reminder (in case you didn’t see my earlier post about WhoNu?)….WhoNu? Cookies are an excellent source of Calcium, Iron, Vitamins A, B12, C, D and E. They also have 3 grams of fiber and a total of 20 essential vitamins and minerals. Also? No hydrogenated oils. That means zero trans fat.
What amazed everyone most of all was the fact that the WhoNu? cookies tasted SO good (seriously, I talked before about how much I love WhoNu? cookies. They really do taste THAT good).
As friends and teammates headed home, I asked Reese and AJ to show me their favorite flavors of WhoNu? cookies. I love that they knew exactly which boxes to grab (yes, my kids have become quite the cookie connoisseurs).
What’s YOUR favorite flavor of WhoNu?
Disclosure: WhoNu? sent me 8 boxes of cookies and a gift card for other party supplies to throw this end-of-season soccer party for my daughter’s team. WhoNu? also made a $200 donation to the team. My love of WhoNu? cookies came long before I was asked to work with them. But as always, the thoughts and experiences shared here are my own.
There were tons of other people in attendance at the party (teammates, siblings, parents, grandparents) but because of privacy issues, only my children are featured in this post.
