When I heard that tonight’s Full Moon was going to be the closet and largest that we’ve seen since 1993, I knew I had to go out to take a picture of it. Problem is, I was running places all afternoon and evening and couldn’t catch it. Either I was admiring the moon’s beauty from the driver’s seat, or the moon was being shy behind a cloud. It wasn’t until 9:30, when I was waiting for Nerds to get out of the Nutcracker ballet with her Girl Scout troop that I was able to catch a few shots. It wasn’t quite as close as it had been a few hours earlier, and I was sad that the spooky looking clouds were gone, but I think my new mega-telephoto lens did pretty well. Don’t ya think? :) If you haven’t gone to bed yet, take a look out the window and admire the moon for a bit. It’s kinda cool.
PS–please help me make a decision on my blog name here. Thanks!
