It’s birthday week at i heart faces’! One year ago a fantastic website was born. I heart faces meant so much to me as I was branching out and trying to become a better photographer. There’s nothing quite like encouragement to build confidence, and examples from other talented individuals to build a store of ideas and knowledge. I appreciate all those who have visited and encouraged me each time I’ve entered.
This week’s theme is “Best Face” and the only rule (other than it must have a face in it) is that the picture had to be taken during the months of December 2009 or January 2010. The photos I took of this adorable daughter of a friend of mine were honestly my favorites of the whole month. How can you not love those curls and that smile? Becky, if you’re reading this, I have not forgotten about you! I am almost ready with a bunch of pictures for you. Getting sick after coming back from Florida put a damper on my productivity.

What a beautiful smile! I love photographing my kids. They just love life so much, and it makes it really fun to take pictures of them. When you see a phot like the one you posted here, it just makes you smile, no matter what kind of day you have. Great job!
