Personally, I think every month should be National Ice Cream Month, but only one month can have the title, and the lucky month is July (totally makes sense, don’t you think? Sun, summer time, and ice cream go together perfectly!).
Thanks to Blue Bunny, my kids and sister and nieces and I had a National Ice Cream month party today. We gathered the ice cream cones, the magic shells, lots of scoops, and an assortment of yummy favors from Blue Bunny and were set to go (someone please explain to me why my kids still flock to the vanilla, even when surrounded by amazing flavors like Banana Split and Sweet and Salty Pretzel??
Ice cream makes people happy. That’s all there is to it.
So do sprinklers and backyard pools and time with cousins, but those are pictures for another post…
I’m still at my sister’s house, blogging from my iPad, so I don’t have all my typical code and info to add here at the bottom, but I’d love for you to link up your favorite pictures from the week!
Happy weekend, and have a great Ice Cream Month!
Disclosure: Blue Bunny sent us ice cream to celebrate National Ice Cream month, but all thoughts are my own.

I’m with you. Every month should be National Ice Cream month. Maybe we should have one day a month to celebrate? And the calories and fat shouldn’t count! :-)
