After our big snow storm on Monday, we have had a few days of warming temperatures. Today we hit 75 degrees. Ahh! 75 feels like heaven after the 20s! So instead of snow, we now have this:
Despite my *wish* that AJ would keep his new Eleven Collection shoes clean, I do realize that it’s probably not going to happen. This guy loves to dig.
But that’s just this afternoon….curious what I went on the rest of the week?
It was actually quite an exciting week around here. On Sunday, I received an email letting me know that I won a collection of 11 new books from Sable Lit Reviews. I love new books!!
On Monday, I got an email from Kristen at La Dolce Vita letting me know that I’d won a giveaway on MomDot for one of her necklaces! I can’t wait til it comes! If you’ve never seen Kristen’s Custom Creations, go check out her etsy store. She’s amazing!
I was already feeling pretty good, but then KitKat picked up the mail, and there was a little package in the mail box. You wannna see what was inside that little package?? It was the Glorious Shoes bracelet from FlirtButtons. I LOVE it!! I won it from 1 Mom+4 Boys=Paradise a few weeks ago, and completely forgot to be watching for it! What a fun surprise!
And THEN, a little while later, I got another email letting me know that I’d won yet another giveaway, this time from Abby at Me and My Boys! This time, the prize was an eGiftcard to CreationsByKJ. This is what I picked: Silver Hand-stamped Washer necklace with a Star Charm.
Pretty amazing, don’t you think? It doesn’t end there! After I had added FlirtButtons to my etsy favorites, I got another email from her saying that I was her 800th person to heart her etsy store, and I had unknowingly won a grab-bag from her shop.
Wenbren sent me an email yesterday saying that she’d given me the Lemonade Award! I am so excited that so many people have passed this award on to me. Thank you!
AND THEN…..yes, there’s more! I got another email from 5 Minutes for Mom letting me know that I won yet another necklace! This one is a fabulous square photo charm necklace from Planet Jill. I can’t wait!
I am going to be so styling. Now the question is–how do I decide what to wear everyday?
And when am I ever going to get through 11 new books, when I’ve got about 50 waiting for me?
I think I’ll manage.
Oh, there’s so much more, but it’s probably not that interesting. Scrapbooking with a friend (it’s been SO long!), planning Cub Scouts with my new assistant, and a long-over due trip to the scout shop AND a quick stop at my favorite store in the whole world….Unique (the thrift store)! I found UNBELIEVABLE deals. It was one of those rare jackpot days, when every CD was unopened and my style, and the shelves seemed to be stocked just for me. I found brand new toys and crafts for Reese’s birthday next week….oh! It was amazing! I have been trying to avoid shopping lately because of $$, and so today’s trip was like having chocolate again after a 6 month diet.
