Nominate Your School Through Tyson Project A+™

Monday, August 31, 2015 by Lolli

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Tyson. The opinions and text are all mine.

The fact that my kids feel like this when back to school season comes around every August is a great testament to their schools:

Yes, our kids love heading back to school because they have amazing teachers and administrators. We’ve been truly blessed in the last 14 years living here and attending our 3 incredible schools – elementary, middle, and high school.

Nominate Your School Through Tyson Project A+™

This month, I’m nominating my kids’ elementary school through Tyson Project A+™. I was recently talking about our elementary school with a family friend who lives in another state. He was floored when I described the community that our school has developed over the years. We are a family. We get together for school picnics and teacher-parent baseball games. My kids look forward to the annual family fun run, where we run together, young and old. I can call up the teachers – calling them by their first names – and chat about my kids and their progress. The principal – an incredible man – asks about my older kids (even my daughter who is in college and hasn’t been a student there for years) to see how they’re doing.

The Tyson Project A+™ program is a simple way to support your local school. All you have to do is clip and collect Tyson Project A+™ labels from Tyson® participating packages. For every label you submit, Tyson will give your designated school cash. Your school can then use the money for whatever it needs – books, computers, supplies, improvements, etc.

The school with the most nominations will receive a packet of labels worth $1,000 to help their school get a head start on collecting Tyson Project A+™ labels.?

See an example of where to find the label below:

We recently shopped for Tyson® Any’tizers® at Walmart to jump start our Tyson Project A+™ labels for our schools this year. Based on how delicious and easy the Popcorn Chicken- Any’tizers® snacks were last week, we’ll be grabbing a lot more of these Any’tizers® snacks. They’re perfect for after-school snacks and pick-me-ups as well as quick, easy, and yummy dinners.

Any’tizers® snacks come in these delicious varieties:

  • Honey BBQ Chicken Wyngz* – Any’tizers® snacks
  • Buffalo Style Boneless Chicken Wyngz* – Any’tizers® snacks
  • Popcorn Chicken- Any’tizers® snacks?
  • Homestyle Chicken Fries – Any’tizers® snacks

Any’tizers® snacks are a great option for busy families because they:

  • Have all-white meat
  • Are protein-packed
  • Include delicious varieties
  • Are simple to prepare
  • Are great for afterschool fuel!

Do you love your school? What makes your school community so special? Nominate your school by sharing why your school needs a head start on collecting Tyson Project A+™ labels.
