A package arrived earlier this week filled with dry ice (and Blue Bunny ice cream treats for AJ’s birthday next week). As excited as the kids were about the ice cream, they were equally as excited about the dry ice. AJ started making plans to make potions the next day after school.
He used a ladle to scoop a bunch of dry ice into a bowl and then slowly poured water over the dry ice. Instant cauldron!
It’s amazing what simple things can entertain kids for so long.

Totally cool. Every time I get dry ice, the hubby plays with it.

Yes, it could definitely surprise you if you didn’t know what was coming! :)

I know. My kids were insanely blessed. :) My eyelashes are long, but theirs are monsterous! :)

Ha! I actually bagged some of it and put it in the freezer after it stopped bubbling. :)

The first time I got something with dry ice scared me. I put it in the sink and tried to turn water on it but it made the house smokey. I learned my lesson.
