I’m sitting with my kids on this Sunday night, braiding hair and playing games. Sunday is my favorite day now. I have come to appreciate it with new eyes since I’ve been so busy during the weekdays.
Sitting together with the cool breeze coming through the window, with no expectations or tasks that have to get done, is my idea of a perfect afternoon.
The fact that I get a nap most Sundays makes the day even better.
Here’s a peek at the photos I took this past week on my phone. I had a pretty exciting week with a trip back to my original hometown, meeting friends old and new, and sleeping in a fancy hotel room. As wonderful as the trip was, though, I would not trade it for this peaceful Sunday afternoon with my family.

Your Sunday sounds just amazing. I would so love to work a nap into my days. I miss that! I miss the leisurely life of yesterdays terribly. :)
