The PRC

On the way to the Parenting Resource Center for the first time this school year, AJ said to me, “Mommy, I’m happy.”

I’m happy, too. I’ve said it a million times, and I’ll say it again. The PRC makes me feel like a better mom. No distracting dishes to do, no laundry to fold and put away, no blog posts to write. There is never an end to the things that need to be done at home, and I’m so far behind on those daily tasks that there is now no end to my guilt…..

But isn’t the time we spend with our precious children more important than those things?

At the PRC, we play with play dough. We paint. We sit together and sing. We build.

And we’re happy.
