About 8 years ago, I started making calendars for my Mom, Dad, brother, sisters, and myself for Christmas. I collect pictures from the year that’s ending and make sure that everyone has at least one picture included. It’s a lot harder than it may seem to… a) find at least one picture each of 20 family members, b) fit pictures of 20 people on an 8.5×11 piece of paper (I have to eliminate a lot!), and then c) arrange the pictures so that they not only fit but look decent. After the photo page is designed, printed, and laminated, I then print off 7 copies of the new year’s calendar with all the family birthdays and anniversaries on them. I usually put it off because it’s quite a big project. I am happy to say that I not only finished the calendar, but I finished the hand-made Christmas presents for my two sisters that we were assigned in the family gift swap. I am so happy with them, but I can’t share them here because I know at least one sister who reads this (hi, Mischa!). So here’s this year’s calendar picture:
Yeah! One more thing to cross off the list. :)
