It’s a miracle, my friends. All of the kids went to school today! After 2 weeks of not leaving the house in daylight hours, I went out!! I picked up my sister and niece at the metro station and we planned a day of play.
Unfortunately, the two little kids, AJ–age 3, and Nessa–age 2, were not getting along. They weren’t playing with the toys at my house, so we figured we’d go out to my favorite place for a quick lunch and a walk.
Considering how tired and grumpy the kids were, we lasted quite a while. Nessa’s fell in love with the resident Ugly Duck. He’s so domesticated that he walked not just NEAR, but OVER my sister’s feet.
He let Nessa get very close. He tried to get some food from the stroller (because all smart ducks know that strollers always contain food).
We pressed our luck and did a mini photo shoot. New pictures of me! :)
And the kids let us know loud and clear when it was time to go home.
I can not tell you how tired I am tonight. I think I’ll make it an early one.
