Twizzler’s Decision

My son decided to be baptized.
The most important parts of the day went by flawlessly.
He was happy.
We were surrounded by family and friends.
He made an important commitment.
What more can I ask for?

What will he remember from his baptism day? Will he remember that the opening song was messed up or that there was another group using the font when it was “his turn”?

Will he remember that some of the pictures in the slideshow that played while he was getting dressed were out of order?

Or will he remember the spirit that he felt when his Grandma and Grandpa spoke?

Will he remember the beautiful rendition of “My Heavenly Father Loves Me” sung by his oldest sister and friend?

Will he remember how he felt when he walked down into the water holding his Dad’s hand, and the feeling of coming up out of the water, clean?

I hope he remembers those things.
