A few days before the 4th of July, I posted about the new 3D sound and light show on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City that was set to debut on July 4th. The concept and the “preview” photos looked incredible. Pairing that with Independence Day fireworks? Holy cow.
What I didn’t know when I posted before the 4th of July was that my local fireworks displays (every single one in the county) were going to be canceled, so the kids and I spent July 4th watching fireworks on my iPad (from last year, no less). Let’s just say that the kids were NOT impressed.
Now that the 4th of July is over and the Atlantic City Sound and Light Show by Duality has made it’s debut, I can officially say that I wish we had been there instead of here for the 4th of July. Take a look at what we missed:

Seriously? I want to see how they make it look like the building is crumbling down. My kids would freak out (in a good way).
Atlantic City is no longer just a place to hit the casinos with your buddies. It’s a perfect family vacation spot with SO many things to do and see, including the new Sound and Light show (check out my post on FREE things to do with the family in Atlantic City).
Don’t forget….the summer isn’t over yet. There’s still time to take a quick family vacation!
