Earlier this week, we “broke in” the summer camp’s new swimming pool. Granted, the dogs who live at the ranch have been playing in the water since the pools were completed, but our kids were the first humans. Let’s just say that they had a good time, despite the cold water.
Now, the kids are across the country, and I am in the middle of the Casual Blogger Conference. I have already had a whirlwind day, with meetings, a speaker dinner, breakout sessions for the teachers and a special Girls Night Out. And the conference doesn’t even start until tomorrow.
One of the highlights of my day was meeting Holly and Rustin, the co-founders of the Blog Frog, who I’ve known and interacted with Forever, but finally got to meet face to face.
I’d list everyone else I have met and all of the other fun things I’ve been able to do today (like get a free massage and eyebrow waxing) but I am insanely tired (it’s 2:30 am my time, and I’ve been wearing heels all day). So the details will have to wait til later.
Wish me luck tomorrow and Saturday! I’m feeling great!!
