I was cleaning up the family room just now and found this to-do list. Number eight and thirteen (and the fact that he was completely serious) were so funny, I had to share:
I can’t wait to see how he completes his list.
What would be on YOUR kids’ to-do list?

That's great! I bet my son could check “Yell at sister” off everyday
until he's 17, too. :)
My son made a list in 4th grade and Drive my mother crazy was on it. Whenever I say “You drive me Crazy!”, his response is “Checkmark for (Day of week)”. I always laugh. He's 17, but we've been doing that since he was in 4th grade.
You're cracking me up! With my 13 year old, I can see those days coming!
That is cute! Nothing better than a good plan!
at 15, 17, and 19 I think “Getting my lazy ass out of bed” would be a great start.
So cute. I'm thinking about writing one of my own!
I was hoping a few people would appreciate it as much as me. I found
another note on the back that was “reminding” him to (and I quote)
“torment little brother.” LOL!
This may be one of the funniest things I have seen all week. I LOVE #8
That's great that you'll be at the Baltimore Bloggy Boot Camp! I am so
excited for it!
Too funny! I have two nine year olds and my daughter is very much into list making and note writing. I found a to do list for her that included dishes, cleaning her room, laundry, and homework. She really is ambitious but too bad she doesn't have much follow through :-)
I love that your son wrote, “yell at sister”. My girls even have their American Girl dolls fight with each other!
I saw you will be at the Baltimore Bloggy Bootcamp, so will I :-) Looking forward to it!
LOL, writing a to do list would require using a pen and paper! Tara does so much on the computer I am afraid she is going to forget how to write….. like mother like daughter. Top of Tara's list would be talk to friends on Skype. I worked all day and thought she would spend time with me this evening… nope….. I love that he wrote it all out step by step!
Haha! Good point! :)
Hehehe…that Twizzler sure has a lot to think about! And I loved that he was going to write his homework down and then DO it…one after the other. You'd think he wouldn't have to write it down if he was going to do it right away but then what good would a to do list be? :)
I love this!! Very funny….I really should try. I'm sure it would be very entertaining to say the least!
Aw how cute, I can't wait to find lists like that!
this is adorable! You've taught them well! They are learning to keep themselves organized!

That is way too cute. I love how he put so much thought into every little step.
I linked from Twitter and absolutely LOVE this To Do list. I will have to ask my 7 year old to write out a To Do list for his day. I wonder if he will be so detail oriented to include each activity :)
