Berry Picking {PSF – Give Me Your Best Shot}

Thursday, September 12, 2013 by Lolli 6 Comments

I don’t have much of an excuse, other than the fact that I had three large moles removed on Tuesday, I’m terribly sore (open wounds stink), I made an unexpected trip to the pediatrician today, yesterday was high school back to school night and tonight is middle school back to school night. There has been no time for pictures this week.

So I bring you a shot from the past. September 2008. A life time ago.

Before AJ started school, we were companions all day long, just the two of us. We had a special bond – berry picking, shopping, play groups, and more (even now, as a big third grader, he still holds my hand everywhere we go together. I love walking him to school and picking him up each afternoon because I can guarantee to get my hand-holding quota in).

I miss those days.

    Awww… What a cutie. They grow so fast. I was just reminiscing with my son about when he was that age just a few hours ago. Glad we still have that bond where he wants to hug me and doesn’t care if his friends are lookin’. But some days I wonder how much longer it will last.
