Best Face of 2010

Monday, January 3, 2011 by Lolli 22 Comments

It’s the first Monday of a new year, and the first I Heart Faces challenge of 2011. This week’s challenge is to find your best face photo of 2010. I have a hard time picking “bests” out, but this photo of Reese is one that has stood out as one of my favorites this year. I loved it so much that I protected it on my memory card so that I could see it each time I turned on my camera.

Funny thing is, each time CandyMan sees the picture, he makes an awkward face and says, “What’s with the weird hat?”

So what if Dad doesn’t like it, right?

Best face of 2010

From I Heart Faces:

We encourage each of you to look back over all the photos you took in 2010. Did your photography improve during that time? Did your style change a bit (or a lot)? Do you have a new photographic vision when you look through the viewfinder of your camera?

I hope that my photography has improved this past year, but some of my favorite photos are still some of my older ones. My style has been pretty consistent, but I’ve shifted my just-for-fun photo focus to more nature shots versus people shots (since I take people photos all the time for “work”). What about you?
