There is not enough time in the day or days in the week to get everything done that needs to be done around here.
Yet another week has gone by and the only pictures I took were photos of all of the food I’ve been making. I thought about making a collage of all of the dishes that I’ve put together this week, but I’m just so worn out.
In the last week, I’ve made caramel apple mini cheesecakes, Cafe Rio sweet pork barbacoa salads, a quick spicy kielbasa pasta, ham fried rice, two kinds of M&M cheesecake brownies, butternut squash candied apple bread, and pumpkin spice rice krispie treats. Those were the recipes I photographed and don’t count the other regular dinners we ate.
It’s no wonder that I need to spend extra time at the gym these days.
Sometimes in the next 24 hours, I need to finish editing all of the October photo shoots so that I can start on the November photo shoots (bright and early Saturday morning!). And I need to write my Thor: The Dark World movie review (because in addition to all of the work and the baking, I also attended two movie screenings).
So I decided that instead of showing off all of the food shots in today’s Photostory Friday – Give Me Your Best Shot post (you can find those on all of my other posts!) I thought I’d share a flash back photo from Fall 2009. A lifetime ago, when my taller-than-me pre-teen son was little and I still had a preschooler at home with me everyday. Times were very different back then!

What a beautiful shot of your little boy! Don’t you just wish they stay little forever?!

What a great picture of the boy in the grass.

Love the picture, he looks so relaxed and tell me about it with regards to time. I have a to-do list as long as my arm and as fast as I get them done more gets added on the bottom. *sigh

Your schedule sounds nuttier than mine, and I thought mine was bad. Although *I* don’t actually cook, so there’s that. :)
LOVE the picture. He’s adorable!
