First Homecoming – Photostory Friday GMYBS

Friday, September 30, 2011 by Lolli 10 Comments

I’m not sure when my daughter got this old, but last Saturday KitKat went to her first Homecoming dance.

Luckily, her first fancy school dance was an easy one on me….none of her friends were interested in going with dates, so a big group of girls went to the dance together.

I was stunned when I saw my daughter looking so beautiful and so grown up.

I’m not quite sure where the years have gone, but I’m sure grateful for the person that she has become.

PS – she found her dress last year at the thrift store and has been holding it in her closet. I was so happy to see her in a modest dress among so many short skirts!

WOW! This scares me just a little- you know, how quickly they grow up. But she is absolutely gorgeous.
