The Hazards of Motherhood – Do You Suffer From LBL?

Monday, May 19, 2014 by Lolli 2 Comments

This post brought to you by Poise at Walmart. All opinions are 100% mine.

My name is Lolli and I suffer from occasional LBL.

Honestly, my husband is probably hiding his head under his pillow knowing that I’m talking to you about this today.

I started having babies in my early 20s and continued until I was 30. Carrying and delivering 5 kids in 8 years was rough on my body…and one of the biggest challenges of post-(five)-baby-body has been bladder control.

Yes, my turning-40-body is not the same as it used to be. As much as I love who I am right now, there are a few things – shall we call them inconveniences? – that I would much rather forget about than have to deal with.

If you’re a woman who has had more than one child and is over 30-something, then you probably know what I’m talking about. Yes, LBL (light bladder leakage) is a problem many of us face. In fact, 1 in 3 women suffer from LBL – whether it’s a little LBL from laughing too hard at the movies or a necessary run to the restroom when you sneezed one too many times… It’s definitely nice not to have to worry about those occasional possibly-embarrassing incidents.

Poise® is here to help save the day. Poise new Microliners are perfect for women like me – women who have had a few kids, who are no longer in their 30s, and who simply want to feel secure, comfortable, and fresh all the time.

The new Poise® Micorliners are the thinnest liners on the market – so thin and discreet that you’ll hardly know they’re there (until, of course, you NEED them, and then you’ll just be grateful they ARE there!). Don’t let the thinness fool you, though – they are surprisingly absorbent, made possible by SAM (Super Absorbent Material…not the kid in your son’s karate class…). Poise® has a full collection of products for Light Bladder Leakage…because none of us really want to spend our time worrying about LBL, right?

Stay tuned for a review coming soon right here!

It is a bigger situation than most people would realize, because it isn’t something that many will bring up, even at girls’ night out! But now with an affordable quality product, no need to worry about laughing or sneezing!
