Hickory Farms – Part of Our Christmas Tradition

Sunday, December 11, 2011 by Lolli 1 Comment

Hickory Farms has been a part of my holiday traditions for as long as I can remember.

My mom and I would always pick up some sausage and cheese from the Hickory Farms kiosk at the mall, or better yet, order a gift basket to enjoy for even longer. One of my favorite things about shopping at the mall during the holidays was (and still is) getting the Hickory Farms sample.

A new holiday tradition

Hickory Farms cheese and sausage

Last year, I discovered a brand new Hickory Farms love (or should I call it an obsession??). I tried the cranberry mustard for the first time….and now sausages, cheese, and crackers will never be the same again at our house.

I got a new gift basket of sausages and cheeses this Christmas and had to run out to the Hickory Farms kiosk at our mall to pick up some cranberry mustard. I’ve been craving it all year!

Share Your Tradition. Share your strength

For every “like” that Hickory Farms receives to their Facebook fan page, and for every tradition shared, they will donate 10 cents to the Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry ® Campaign (up to $10,000 through 12/25/11). For every dollar donated, Share Your Strength can help give a child 10 nutritious meals.

Plus, with every Siganture Party Planner sold this year, they will donate $5 to Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry ® Campaign.

$3, 3-day shipping

Hickory Farms offers one of the most amazing shipping deals ever – for $3 you can ship any of their gift baskets (within the US) and they will arrive within 3 days of order placement. Orders over $35 ship for free. Here’s how the process works:

Did you know that Hickory Farms is more than just great tasting meats and cheeses? They also have a great selection of sweet treats as well as fruits and crackers.

What are your favorite Hickory Farms traditions?

Disclosure: I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Hickory Farms and received a product sample to facilitate my review.

Yumm, I haven’t tried the cranberry mustard! I do look forward to buying the summer sausage and smoked cheddar every season though. I remember when HF was not a kiosk but a huge store if it’s own in the mall. My brothers and I used to love to go inside, see all the tasty stuff and pick candy out of the barrels. So sad they do not have stores anymore, at least not around us.
