This week went way too fast for me. In fact, in my post from a little earlier I mentioned that I completely missed Wednesday. I thought it was Tuesday until Wednesday night when I realized that I had totally missed posting a WordFul Wednesday. I’ll live. At least I figured it out before Saturday hit.
I blame my mix up on the holiday on Monday and the snow day on Tuesday. I woke up on Tuesday morning to a white view out my window. It appeared to be a very mild storm until CandyMan informed me that the snow was actually sleet. There was an inch of icy mess covering everything.
Made for cool pictures, though…
What has your week been like? Any snow in your area? This week in my BlogFrog community (which, by the way, is embedded right here on my blog) I asked for suggestions on how to keep kids entertained during unexpected days off. I’d love for you to chime in, too!
And now it’s time for some linky love! Grab a code and link away. By the way, we’re still patiently waiting for Cecily. If you didn’t hear about what happened, check the update here.

I did the same thing this week, I went to our church to volunteer for our small blessings ministry on Wednesday thinking it was Tuesday and guess what no one was there….go figure ;)
Awesome pics as always.

Oh man your ice pix are fantastic….. I want a macro lens :(
Lots of snow round here, shoveled twice on Tuesday and once today! Tired of shoveling. We don’t get snow days, so I’m not much help in that area. In the 10 years we lived here, we’ve had not a one snow day…. and it snows and it get major cold and school just goes on. They have polar bear days when the kids can’t go outside because it is below zero!

Where I live (in Texas), we haven’t had any ice this winter so I really am enjoying looking at all of the ice & snow photos on other’s blogs. Great macro shots!

I love seeing pictures like that b/c I have no concept of that kind of beauty here in LA. The pictures are beautiful as usual. My week has been in the low 80’s so nothing to report here.

Those are some awesome shots!
We are currently in a deep freeze. I woke up to a temperature of -19 with a windchill of -35. If we are lucky it will actually warm up to above zero today. But I’m not holding my breath.
Lisa @ Crazy Adventures in Parenting says
Ice maybe quite troublesome for driving and such, but GOSH, is it ever beautiful.

Great pictures and so far remove from our very hot summer down here. Very wet and rainy though, so I can also do with some suggestions as to how to keep the kidlets busy.
