It’s hard to believe that Monday of THIS WEEK was a snow day. We woke up Monday morning to 8 more inches of snow and yet another day off school. Just the week before we had all hoped and prayed that THAT snow storm would be our last of the year. This week, we’re hoping that this snow storm will be our last. We’ll see.
We had an unexpected day of sunshine and blue skies today. Despite the fact that it is now officially Spring, I didn’t believe the weather could be so beautiful today after being so lousy just a few days ago. We ignored the piles of snow that are still lingering everywhere, threw off our winter coats and celebrated the first day of spring at the park across the street.
Oh, how wonderful the sun felt on our faces! I didn’t even tell the kids to put their shoes back on as they ran up and down the slide. The sunshine did all of us a world of good.
Look! I found blossoms and blooms!

oh we woke up to snow on the ground two days this morning as well. Will this winter ever end??
