March Blogging Prompts

Sunday, March 2, 2014 by Annie 3 Comments

Do you have Spring fever too? I am itching to be outside in the sun, if only it would warm up! Here in Kansas, it is still very cold, much too cold for March.

I know with my desire to just be out of my house, I will be referencing this list of blog post ideas. Plus, this is the last 3 months of the school year, which means lots of activities and long days. The less thinking about my blog topics, the better.

March blogging prompts

I can’t wait to read what you write! Please share it here!

And remember, these are only ideas! So please take them and use them however you want. Be satirical, be raw/emotional or informative. Let these just be idea-jumpers, the post is entirely up to you.

  1. The color green
  2. Have you ever helped someone make reach their dreams? Share it!
  3. What is something from your childhood that you passed down to your children?
  4. Finish this sentence (in a blog post) “If I could teach my children one thing before I leave, it would be ______”
  5. How do you stay organized?
  6. Describe the last kind thing you did and what was the result?
  7. The worst piece of advice I ever received as a new parent was:
  8. What does the word “friend” mean to you?
  9. Write about sibling rivalry
  10. Share one thing you learned about yourself from your most recent employment.
  11. Are you a night owl or morning person?
  12. The word soft
  13. A childhood memory
  14. Nutrition/Food
  15. An embarassing moment
  16. Either a concert you went to and loved or never went to and regret missing
  17. Your favorite TV show
  18. Something unbelievable
  19. A movie you think everyone should watch
  20. Your first date
  21. Would you rather hire a maid or a cook?
  22. Your favorite book

What will you write about this month?

:) I just thought you might like to hear that they are being used and kept for future use too. I get excited when I see a new one and I quickly copy and paste into my “idea” doc hehe

and YES plus some of these will be super fun to do and hopefully interactive

That is awesome to hear! That’s exactly what I’m doing too. I’ve been so busy so far this year, but I am just waiting for that day when I have writer’s block and need some inspiration. Because I know it will happen. :)

I just wanted to say thank you for these prompts each month. I haven’t used any just yet, but I have been saving each months into a doc so I can refer back to later when I want it.
