Summer break is my favorite time to check out movies in the theater. With the kids off school and the day time hours free, plus the fact that we are always looking for ways to stay busy and beat the heat, the movie theater is an ideal place to go.
It’s not always easy to find movies that we will all enjoy, though. As my kids get older, their taste in movies has changed, and I have an especially hard time finding good alternatives for my teens. They would prefer staying away from the kiddy movies, but I’m not ready for them to head out to the more grown-up themed movies. Quality older-kid movies seem to be hard to come by.
As we’ve spent time at hotels over this past week, I’ve been seeing trailers for a new movie with Selena Gomez. Monte Carlo is coming to theaters Friday, July 1st. and I’m actually looking forward to seeing it. Not only are my girls excited to see Monte Carlo, but it actually looks like something that I would enjoy watching, too.
Monte Carlo synopsis
